The Friendly Tech

Tech help at your kitchen table.

I'm Anthony. I spent eight years at the Apple Store, most of it as a Genius, fixing iPhones and Macs. Now I come to your home, sort out whatever's giving you trouble, and stay until it makes sense.

That's me. Say hi when I knock.

What people usually call me about

  • "I got a new iPhone and want my old photos on it."
  • "The printer says it's offline. Again."
  • "I got a text saying my bank account is locked. Is it real?"
  • "The Wi-Fi doesn't reach the back bedroom."
  • "I want to FaceTime the grandkids on my own."
  • "We bought a doorbell camera. It's still in the box."

Also Mac and Windows computers, smart TVs and streaming, email, passwords, and moving everything to a new phone or computer. If it plugs in, ask me.

A free tip while you're here

If a text or email says your bank account is locked, don't tap the link. Call the number on the back of your card instead. The real bank will be there.

How I work

  1. I don't write down your passwords. You type them in, and I look away.
  2. I don't sell you things you don't need. If your computer is fine, I'll say so.
  3. Before I leave, I write out the steps in big print, so you're not stuck later.
  4. If your son or daughter wants to know how it went, I'll send them a quick update. Only with your OK.

Booking for Mom or Dad?

Lots of my calls come from grown kids who live a few hours away. You can set up the visit and pay for it, and I'll text you afterward with what I fixed and anything to keep an eye on, like suspicious calls.

Good to know

Do you only work on Apple stuff?
Apple is what I know best, but I help with Windows computers, Android phones, printers, routers, and TVs too.
Which cameras do you install?
Ring, Nest, Arlo, Eufy, and most other popular brands. If you haven't bought one yet, I'll help you pick.
Do I have to buy anything?
Usually not. If something new would really help, I'll explain why and you decide.
